New season for the Lyon National Orchestra

The Lyon Auditorium is a veritable hub of musical performance and creativity, and one of the rare French institutions to boast a 2,100-seat concert hall and a permanent orchestra of around 100 musicians. Its seasonal program of symphonic music, jazz and cinema-concerts draws nearly 250,000 spectators. The Orchestre National de Lyon, one of the oldest in France (created in 1905) performs works from a vast repertory spanning the 18th century to the present. The very “French” quality of its sound has forged its reputation for Ravel, Debussy and Berlioz. Working with renowned conductors, it’s a fine ambassador for France on its tours in Japan, the US, China and Europe. Air France is a partner.
