This summer, head to Tivat
With Transavia Its wild charm and ultra-modern facilities will satisfy even the most demanding of travelers. Tivat is Montenegro’s only port city with an airport and the site of many luxury marinas, including Porto Montenegro, one of Europe’s most luxurious. Located in the Bay of Kotor, it is the ideal point of departure for discovering the region, still relatively unaffected by mass tourism. The bay provides access to many coastal villages and treasures: the Orthodox Church of Saint Sava, Savina Monastery and its lush gardens, small picturesque beaches and the fortified town of Kotor. Tivat’s natural setting is wild and majestic, and includes a stunningly beautiful archipelago of three islands: Saint Mark’s Island (Sveti Marko), Island of Flowers (Ostrvo Cvijeca) and Our Lady of Mercy Island (Gospa od Milosrdja). And for those looking for some adventure, there’s Mount Lovcen, a national park, with its breathtaking view over the entire bay. This summer, head for Tivat and experience time suspended. From April 27 to October 1, Transavia France is offering two weekly flights to Tivat, starting at €60 taxes included one way. Tickets currently available for purchase.
