Danser sur les frontières

Biarritz The dynamics of the body and the gymnastics of the mind. Le Temps d’Aimer la Danse festival does acrobatic splits between Eva Yerbabuena’s flamenco, Kader Attou’s pictorial hip-hop (Opus 14) and the latest creation of the Dantzaz company, Aureo, in which the young dancers joyfully work to break down the barriers of convention (photo).

Qui porte quoi ?

Paris The newly restored Palais Galliera is displaying some one hundred items from its collections. Luxurious or modest, these garments trace the history of fashion since the 18th century and the formation of the museum’s collection. Olivier Saillard displays these moving empty shells, accompanied by informative texts about those how wore them.

Influence impressionniste

Paris Winner of the 2016 Prix Levallois, Vasantha Yogananthan, a 31-year-old photographer and publisher, traveled around India with the popular epic of the Ramayana in his head. Working at dawn or sunset, he took softly lit landscapes and black and white or hand-colored portraits.
